KEEPER OF THE GOLDEN BELLS
Yellow Gold 18K, White Gold 18K, Diamonds, Nephrite Jade Base. Year of creation: 2006
In a Private Collection
A sculptural reverie cast in 18K gold — a solemn Keeper of Time poised beneath a cathedral arch, hand raised as three golden bells hang in suspended song. Wings unfurl in fine white gold, and within the shield the figure guards a working clock; on the reverse, a finely chased medallion is set as its silent companion. Beneath the wings, a discreet business card holder is concealed — a quiet gesture of utility within the ceremony. The whole composition rests upon a base of deep nephrite jade — an interior object of quiet ceremony, where architecture, allegory, and master goldsmithing meet in a single, breathing form.
