Our Story
LIÉNA jewels - custom fine jewelry brand established in Germany in 2020 by Kristina Laass - award winning Ukrainian jewelry designer, artist and jewelry creator in the third generation.
Kristina started her way in jewelry art only one year old, when she drew her first ring in her father’s workshop.
All in all 40 years in the world of jewelry, the last 20 as a professional jewellery designer and artist, which gave her a lot of exposure to the jewelry market. During this time she created countless pieces of jewelry from mass market to fine and high jewelry.
She acquired her Master of Fine Arts and Jewelry Design at the Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture.
Later she worked for several national Ukrainian and international companies as Jewelry and Lead Designer.
For Swarovski Gemvisions Trend Books she created designs, sketches, renderings and technical drawings since 2009 to 2019.
She is also a Cavalier of the Carl Fabergé Memorial Foundation, Order of the Michael Perkhin for achievements in Jewelry and development of the Jewelry Art since 2012.
